Good morning sunday blessings images and quotes

Sundays are an interesting day of the week for many reasons.

For one, they can be a stark reminder that the new week is just around the corner. Oftentimes, this can make Sundays a stressful day for many, and this is usually when “Sunday scaries” pop up.

If you’re not familiar with “Sunday scaries”, it is “a common feeling of anxiety that builds up over the course of Sunday afternoon and evening” according to NBC News. It’s when you start to feel really down as you think about your week ahead. In short, “Sunday scaries” really suck.

I’ve experienced them many times before, and if I’m really honest, I probably get them on Sundays more often than not! But it looks like I’m not alone.

According to NBC News, “76% of Americans self-reported having ‘really bad’ Sunday night anxiety”. That’s more than 3 out of every 4 people in America.

On the other hand, Sundays are the second weekend day, meaning most of us don’t have to work on this day if we don’t want to. If you are someone who doesn’t have to work on Sunday, how are you spending your time on that day?

Are you relaxing? Spending time with friends and family? Reading a good book? Exploring? Are you enjoying your time?

Or, are you wasting your time being worried about the week ahead?

If you are someone who loves Sundays, or you are someone who wants to love Sundays, you will really find value in this blog post.

I’ve put together all the best inspirational, Sunday quotes and images to help remind you that Sunday can be really peaceful, but also that if you have “Sunday scaries” (or you worry about Monday) you’re not alone.

Final thoughts

In my opinion, it’s a shame that so many of us spend our Sunday afternoons and evenings being worried about Monday and the rest of the week that follows.

It makes me think: what can we do to make our Sundays better? Or maybe, we just need to find a way to make our weeks more enjoyable, so that we aren’t dreading them on the weekend days.

Maybe it’s time to change up your week.

If you can’t get a new job or stop going to school, can you hang out with more friends during the weekdays? Start a new workout routine? Maybe you can change up your route to work to add some spontaneity or go see a movie one night.

Life is too short to waste Sunday being worried about Monday. I hope these quotes inspire you to live your Sunday to the fullest and be present as much as possible.
