I am a minimalist at heart, so I am only going to recommend the things that I think every beauty-lover will ACTUALLY like and want to have.
Also, I don’t like to spend a lot of money, so I tried my best to ensure everything here is less than $20 USD, with the exception of a few things! You’ll definitely get a lot of bang for your buck with these items.

1. Lip Oil
Everyone loves these lip oils because they make your lips look so juicy, shiny, and plump! This one by NYX has fantastic reviews on Amazon and at less than $10, it is SO affordable. I love the colors “03 supermodel” and “05 newsfeed”.
And this lip oil is way more affordable than the trendy Dior one which I haven’t heard such great things about!
2. Clear Lip Oil
If you don’t think the person you’re shopping for wants a colored lip oil, try this one from NYX that also has great reviews on Amazon. It’s clear, so the person’s natural lip color will shine through under a lovely, shiny gloss.
3. Under Eye Patches
I’m asking for these for Christmas. Anything that claims to reduce dark circles and be anti-aging, I’m all for! Plus, they’re just fun 🙂
4. Beauty Blender
Everyone needs a new beauty blender from time to time. These ones from Real Techniques are awesome and since these come in a pack of 4, the person you’re shopping for will be set for a while!
5. Double-sided Makeup Brush
I cannot believe how inexpensive this makeup brush is, especially given its amazing reviews.
It’s double-sided, so the person you’re shopping for can use it for both foundation and blush, for example.
The only person I wouldn’t recommend this for is someone who stores their makeup brushes vertically because then they’d be squishing one side of the brush at all times, if that makes sense.
In other words, I store my makeup brushes horizontally in a drawer, so this kind of brush would be perfect for me.
6. Hair Diffuser
If someone in your life has wavy hair that they tend to scrunch with their hands, why not try getting them a hair diffuser?
I use mousse to “scrunch” my hair everyday, and while I love the look, I’ve been wondering if a hair diffuser would help make my hair look even wavier and less frizzy!

If you want to keep the frizz away and have your hair looking cohesive (or, if the person you’re shopping for uses mousse in their hair and it feels a little crunchy – this is my situation, lol) get them this hair oil!
It’ll soften curls and help hair shine, or it’ll just make straightened hair look even better. It also smells AMAZING. It’s expensive but it’s worth it, trust me!
8. WET Hair Brush
If you’re not using this hair brush to brush you’re hair, what are you even doing?! These are the most gentle brushes and they’re incredible at detangling your hair. I refuse to use anything else!
I have this plain black one but this brush comes in so many colors!
9. It’s A 10 Detangler
This stuff is also a little pricey, but amazing. If you’re shopping for someone who constantly has tangly hair (mine is this way…) they will LOVE this product. It’s a simple spray that takes all of the tangles away. That should be their tagline.
10. Lorac Liquid Eyeliner
This is HANDS DOWN the BEST liquid eye liner. I have been using this to do my winged eyeliner for so many years now and I absolutely love it. It looks flawless and lasts all night.
I’m no makeup artist but I personally feel that the brown color (“Espresso”) is better for people with lighter features, and the black color is better for people with darker features!
11. Maybelline Mascara
I’ve been using this mascara since I was 15 years old (that’s about 15 years now!). I never plan on changing. If the person you’re shopping for loves long, separated lashes (versus thick) this is the perfect mascara for them.
12. Body Scrub
My friend recently got me this body scrub for my birthday and I’m actually obsessed. It’s like an exfoliant for your body – helping to remove dead skin cells and leaving your skin much softer than before.

14. Derma plane Razors
These razors are the best, and they’re pretty cheap. You can use them for a variety of things and they always come in handy.

This toiletry bag is phenomenal. I first got it when I was travelling to Italy, and I have been obsessed with it ever since. It is affordable, can store a TON of stuff, COMPACT, and it’s cute!

I love Selena Gomez and I love this blush. I just got the color “Hope” (which is also my middle name!) and it is so beautiful, super pigmented, and I can tell it is going to last me FOREVER.

I keep seeing these everywhere and I want one so badly! Not only do they massage your scalp (I see most people using them in the shower) but they help clean your scalp, too.
18. Revlon Kiss Lip Balm
Everyone who knows me well knows I never go anywhere without my Revlon kiss lip balm.
They come in a variety of colors, are very wearable, and super inexpensive. My personal favorite color is “Cherry”.
19. Elta MD Sunscreen
This is the face sunscreen that everyone RAVES about.
IMHO, everyone should wear sunscreen every day. If you’re shopping for someone who never wears sunscreen, get them this! They’ll thank you years and years down the line 🙂
20. CeraVe Anti Aging Retinol
I really like this stuff and I swear it works. Whenever I put this on my fine lines/wrinkled areas at night, I wake up in the morning with much smoother skin.
