This post is all about motivational quotes to wake up early.

motivational quotes wake up early quotes

I have always loved waking up early. Something about waking up before the rest of the world, when there is true peace and quiet is so calming.

Early mornings are great, too, when you can be productive. Pair an early morning with productivity (like a workout!) and the day has started off amazingly well.

But waking up isn’t always easy! And that’s why we’ve put together this list of 133 motivational quotes to wake up early so YOU can start waking up early and conquer your day.

Scientific Benefits of Waking Up Early

Waking up early can be difficult, but it has so many benefits.

According to Healthline, waking up early allows you more time to yourself, more time to exercise, healthier skin, and fewer dark circles (if that’s something you struggle with).

And according to Succeed Feed, waking up early helps you be more self-confident. “When you start waking up early to exercise, to meditate, to read, to focus on your goals or to work on your business, the actions and progress you make will give you confidence.”

When you are able to set a goal for yourself, like waking up to your alarm, and then actually getting out of bed when it goes off, you start to feel really proud of yourself.

With all of the benefits of waking up early, it’s no wonder we all wish we did it more!

How To Wake Up Early To Workout

If you are someone who wants to wake up early and workout, here are 10 tips that’ll help you.

Waking up early is hard enough, but then working out on top of that can be extra tough! Luckily, we think these tips will make your job of waking up and working out much easier:

1. Set out your workout clothes the night before – this way, you don’t have to scramble in the morning when you’re half asleep to find the proper clothes you need for your workout. You’ll have it all ready for you.

2. Or sleep in your workout clothes – if you’d rather eliminate the “getting dressed” part entirely, you can always sleep in your workout clothes! This way, you can roll out of bed when your alarm goes off in the morning and head straight to your workout.

3. Prepare all of your gym gear the night before – while you’re laying out your clothes (or putting them on to sleep in) you might as well set out your keys, water bottle, and whatever else you typically need for your workout. The idea here is to make leaving for your workout the next morning as easy as possible!

4. Before bed, have an idea of your gym routine for the next morning – it really helps to have an idea of what you are going to do at the gym the next day. Otherwise, you will wake up without a clue what you’re going to do workout-wise, and it’ll be that much easier for you to say to yourself “well, maybe I don’t have to work out today…” To avoid this, it helps to always have a plan!

5. Go to bed at a decent time – if you stay up late, waking up early will be more difficult. Go to bed at a decent time and try to get an adequate amount of sleep before you have to wake up in the morning.

6. Before falling asleep, visualize yourself waking up the next morning – when you visualize yourself waking up and heading to your workout in the morning, your brain starts to believe, “Oh, I can definitely do this.” Every little bit of confidence will help.

7. Set your alarm, and keep it across the room if needed – Of course, you want to set an alarm if you can’t wake up early naturally. If you are someone who loves to hit the “snooze” button, then set your alarm far away from your bed so you actually have to get out of bed to turn it off. This way, you’ll be less likely to get back in bed and fall asleep once you turn off your alarm.

8. Skip the snooze button – just a little reminder to not hit that snooze button! The more you snooze, the more tired you will be when you actually do wake up.

9. Drink or eat something before you head out the door – if knowing you’ll get to eat or drink your favorite beverage will help entice you to wake up in the morning, plan for that!

10. Workout with a friend – if you and your friend make plans to workout, you won’t want to blow them off when your alarm goes off. Making plans with a friend to workout can be a great motivator to get out of bed when your alarm goes off.
