I’ve been here almost 8 years, so I have a great support group now. But it took several years for me to experience lasting friendships. So I guess my answer is hard — it takes time.

My monthly budget is $250 and I rarely go over. My boyfriend and I live together and split groceries evenly. Each week it’s usually between $30-40 though recently inflation has kept it at the higher end.

At a previous job in title, but it never included a financial promotion.

Yes, sort of. I attempted to negotiate my salary to be higher than the offer, but they were offering me the max amount for the position already, due to my experience.
I was actually happy with the amount offered but was just trying for more (doesn’t hurt, right!?) so I accepted.

Build emergency fund back up to $5k after pet emergency, then grow to $10k. Build 401k.

Recently, I paid off my car ($12k loan after putting down $10k) in less than 2 years this past June.
