In a relationship

If you are in a relationship / married, do you and your partner have joint or separate finances?

Do you find it easy or hard to make friends?

I’ve been here almost 8 years, so I have a great support group now. But it took several years for me to experience lasting friendships. So I guess my answer is hard — it takes time.

Luckily, not really

At a previous job in title, but it never included a financial promotion.

Yes, sort of. I attempted to negotiate my salary to be higher than the offer, but they were offering me the max amount for the position already, due to my experience.

I was actually happy with the amount offered but was just trying for more (doesn’t hurt, right!?) so I accepted.
